Elizabeth Hargrove

Elizabeth received her BA in Psychology from Whitman College in 1997 and a BA in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon in 2002 and has traveled and worked extensively. As a student, Elizabeth studied art history and garden design in Florence, Italy and interned for a Landscape Architecture and Urban Design firm in Glasgow, Scotland.

Prior to joining the team at Koons Environmental Design, Elizabeth was a member of Oehme Van Sweden, a prominent Landscape Architecture firm in Washington, D.C., and worked on residential garden and commercial projects around the country. Elizabeth brings a sustainable design aesthetic to the team that focuses on the synthesis of social, ecological, and economical concerns that draw on her travels and appreciation of European and American urban design and minimalist landscapes. Current projects to which she applies her experience in master planning and institutional development from schematic design to construction documentation include the Athens Resource Center for the Homeless (ARCH) and the University of Georgia D.W. Brooks Pedestrian Mall.
